YD Detailers started as a weekend hustle between two friends who couldn’t stand a dirty car. We bring the rig to your driveway, plug into your hose, and treat your car the way we treat ours — patiently, by hand, with chemistry that respects the paint.

No upselling. No fluorescent lobby. Just two clean cars after we leave — yours, and the one we drove in on.

Beyond the cars, we care about the community we grew up in. In 2026, we helped raise over $500 for Newton North High School’s Business Club — because the same community that supports us deserves our support back.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes — we're fully mobile. We come to your driveway, apartment lot, or office and bring everything needed to get the job done. All we ask for is a parking spot for your vehicle.
We're based in Newton and cover the surrounding Greater Boston area — including Brookline, Watertown, Wellesley, Needham, Belmont, Brighton, Allston, and Cambridge. Not sure if you're in range? Message us and we'll confirm before you book.
Yes — please make sure we'll have access to an outdoor water source (a hose spigot) and a power outlet we can reach. We need both to run our equipment and give your car the full detail. If you're unsure about your setup, just let us know when you book and we'll work it out.
It depends on the package. A Premium Exterior runs about 1–2 hours, an Interior Reset about 1.5–2.5 hours, and a Signature Full Detail about 2.5–4 hours. We'll give you a clear time estimate when you book.
Pick a package on our site and reserve a time in under a minute. You pay once the detail is finished — we accept cash and major digital payments. Free cancellation up to 12 hours before your appointment.
It depends on your setup. If you have a garage, we can still do the detail inside — rain or shine. If you don't have covered space, we'll reach out to reschedule for the next available day at no extra charge.
